My Outstanding Experience The experience of a practicing teacher in an institution can be very enriching and challenging at the same time, At first, the practicing teacher can spend time observing veteran teachers in action, learning about the educational environment of the institution, daily routines and school policies. Practicing teachers are assigned to a mentor who guides and supports them during their practice. Working closely with the mentor provides opportunities to receive feedback, share ideas and learn from the mentor's experience.
